In the days of Ghengis Khan, in ancient Mongolia, packs of wolves roamed the steppes with the Khan's mighty warriors. For days on end, man and beast would thrill to the hunt, sweeping across the golden landscape.

The courage and teamwork of the Mongolian horsemen were honored as equal to that of the bands of gray wolves, and the people wove their tales of skill and cunning into the streaming banners that flew above the moving hordes.

After the hunt, the Mongols would celebrate with great feasts and loud story telling.

Cajoling each other over the blazing open fires, they grilled slivers of the freshest meats and vegetables upon their overturned shields. As the mouthwatering aromas from the exotic spices and oils rose above their encampment, they knew life is good when savory food is plentiful and good friends abound.
